Chagrin Falls High School (CFHS) senior Norah Pope has been selected as the September Chagrin Valley Rotary Student of the Month. Pope was chosen based on her leadership and service qualities she has displayed in the community.
Pope has earned several awards during her time at CFHS. She received the Scholastic Silver Key Art Award, PTO Art Show Award, and was a Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) school representative.
She is an active member of several clubs and participates in sports. She is in the Art Club, Link Crew, Wellness Council, and enjoys track and basketball. She is in Student Council, the Yearbook editor and is a Zookeeper, keeping student spirit up at all athletic events.
Outside of school, Pope enjoys being with her friends, hiking, traveling, going to concerts and playing club basketball. She volunteers at the Chagrin Valley Rec Center, CAA basketball, and Wellness Council.
In school, Pope has taken several accelerated classes including AP 3D portfolio, AP Spanish, Anatomy, AP Calc BC, and College Credit Plus. She plans on majoring in environmental design or architecture.
