Change in residency within the Chagrin Falls Exempted Village School District may be done through the Pupil Services office. All completed forms and proofs of residency should be sent to the District Registrar, either electronically at registration@chagrinschools.org or via the US mail at:

A Demographic Change Form must be completed and submitted along with the appropriate residency documentation listed below.

Proofs of residency: 

• Homeowners – Provide a tax bill, mortgage statement, deed, or signed purchase agreement, AND a utility bill. Utility Bill must dated within 60 days of submitting registration application.

• Tenants with a utility in their name – A signed lease agreement, Property Owner Declaration completed by the property owner, and a utility bill.

• Tenants without a utility in their name – A signed lease agreement, Property Owner Declaration completed by the property owner, and a current utility bill (within 60 days of registration application) in the property owner's name. In addition please provide one piece of business mail (credit card statement, cell phone statement, bank statement, or pay stub) in parent/guardian's name..  

Please note:

• Parents/guardians are required to sign a Statement of Understanding acknowledging that their residence is within Chagrin Falls Exempted Village School boundaries.

• All court documents pertaining to custody or residency must be provided, and the District must be notified immediately if any custody or residency changes occur. 

• Children found to be attending school in defiance of the residency conditions are to be removed from the school district rosters and will not be permitted to continue to attend school in the district.

• The District reserves the right to charge tuition for student attendance in violation of the residency requirement.
