Welcome to Chagrin Falls Middle School

Chagrin Falls Middle School (CFMS) is located on the 7-12 campus. This seventh and eighth-grade community has an enrollment of approximately 272 students.  Students thrive in a collaborative, caring and connected environment that empowers each learner. Staff members work hard to engage students in a meaningful educational experience that prepares them for a promising future. Our teachers practice teaming; being reflective practitioners, placing emphasis on collaboration, focusing on student learning and exploring necessary interventions and instructional strategies.

Chagrin Falls Middle School is a U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School.  CFMS aslo received the Ohio School’s to Watch Award. These awards were earned due to high academic achievement, high-quality instruction, a sustainable and focused district vision and community partnerships, all which strengthen our students’ educational experience.

Extracurricular offerings include 12 interscholastic sports, Student Council, Club Connect, Power of the Pen, Book Club, Gaming Club, Destination Imagination, Science Buddies, Mock Trial, Speech and Debate, Ski Club, Yearbook, Newspaper, and Principal and Counselor’s Advisory Committees. The middle school also has a strong focus on the fine arts with many students participating in band, strings, choir and art with concerts, shows and the fine arts festival.

CFMS is rich with opportunities like the “Advisory Tiger Period,” leveled courses, philanthropy, and our Innovation Center with Makerspace, which is an area to explore, collaborate and create in the disciplines of STEM and literature.

Parent involvement is pivotal to the middle school’s success. Parent volunteers sponsor several after-school events.

Our students will learn. Our students will be challenged. Our students will be empowered to maximize their potential. Our students will succeed. We will care for these students personally, listen to their voices, respect their concerns, and engage them in meaningful educational experiences that will prepare them for a promising future.

We are Chagrin!
